This was a really nice game and I loved the voice acting! It really brought the game to "life". The music was also very good!
I think it would be nice if you could make your own notes in the notepad, since it doesn't capture every part of the conversation. Or an additional timeline where you can see who was in what room at what time.
Also I guessed wrong (I misunderstood one of the pieces of dialogue, which is on me) and I tried to speed run it by clicking through each piece of dialogue quickly, but the ACCUSE button didn't pop up. It would be nice if it saved the game there so if you guessed wrong you didn't have to do all that. Or just have the ACCUSE button be on the last page of the notebook so you can do it at any time, with a pop up warning if you click it before you have all of the evidence.
It would also be nice to have an autoplay option so you don't have to click through each time.
Incredibly charming little game, with beautiful art, a great, varied soundtrack, and a fun cast of characters!
You may be a little overwhelmed at the beginning but just continue chatting with the characters, take some notes, and feel free to redo conversations.
The mystery is very solvable with a bit of focus.
I can definitely see the potential for a larger story in the world with these characters and really enjoyed the feeling that this was just a small window into the larger lives of the cast.
Thank you so much for the kind feedback! We definitely aim to expand the story and gameplay some more soon while working towards a full steam release so this is super encouraging to hear!
